Natasha Colton - FaithQuest Director

As FaithQuest Director, I organize our Sunday School program.  From selecting curriculum to training and coordinating volunteers, I work with families to teach Bible basics and share the love of Jesus with your little ones every Sunday!

Originally from a dairy farm in Wisconsin, I attended Concordia University in Ann Arbor, MI and received my Lutheran Teaching Diploma in Elementary Education. In 2006, I moved to Bristol, CT after taking my first call to teach middle school math and science at Immanuel Lutheran.  When my daughter Lucy was born in 2010, I stepped back from teaching in the classroom and took a job in Admissions/IT at Loomis Chaffee where I continue to work today.

Unlike the Midwest, there are very few Lutheran schools in this area, and it became even more important to find a strong Sunday School program to add to what we were teaching at home.  To fulfill my "teacher instincts" I began volunteering with FaithQuest when Lucy was old enough to attend.  Now as members at OSL for over 10 years, we all try to plug in as much as possible.  My husband Rob sings with the Worship Team and helps to maintain the grounds around the church.  Lucy enjoys acolyting and participating in youth Bible studies and activities.  God has definitely blessed us through our OSL Family!

In my free time, I enjoy outdoor adventures with my family such as kayaking, hiking, biking, and running.  I have made many good friends as part of The Bridge Runners Ragnar Team!  I also enjoy baking, cooking, listening to live music, and traveling. Nothing like a 25-hour roadtrip to bring a family together!
